Optimal Maternal Positioning Class - October

This is an interactive workshop! You and your partner will learn:

• What OMP is, how it works and why you should do it
• the techniques, stretches and releases to do during pregnancy as you prepare for birth
• what your partner can do to help you during pregnancy and during labour and birth. It is a very hands-on workshop!
• how to help relieve those pregnancy aches and pains
• the physiology of labour and birth process- what happens in the woman's body during labour and birth. How do I know when its time to call the midwife?
• pain relief options
• how to have an active birth even while lying down to rest, or if you are using an epidural
• the benefits to you during pregnancy even if you are planning a caesarian

I'm teaming up with my friend Cassie to talk about what to expect from life with a newborn too. Nappy changing, wrapping, feeding, settling etc.
